About Julie
Julie Lara understands the issues and challenges facing business in today’s global economy. Before founding Lara Executive Image, she gained over 20 years experience in national sales and marketing. Fortune 500 companies such as Tyco, Dell, Hyundai, Wal-mart and JC Penney have benefited from her expertise. Julie is a Certified Image Consultant, a member of the prestigious Association of Image Consultants International (www.aici.org) and serves as President of the AICI South Central USA Chapter, headquartered in Dallas. Professionally trained by an AICI certified Master Image Consultant, Julie helps individuals develop a powerful professional presence by offering consulting services that include: first impression management, color and style analysis, closet organization and wardrobe planning, personal shopping, etiquette and communication skills.
She provides educational programs to organizations and businesses to help employees improve their appearance and social skills so they are more self-confident, inspiring the respect of their peers, and reassuring clients and co-workers that they are committed to the company’s goals. Julie is passionate about empowering individuals to achieve their full potential professionally and personally. Her mission is to help her clients feel more confident in themselves and their abilities by creating a meaningful image that reflects their strengths and propels them to greater success in life.
Julie is a native Texan and graduate of the University of Texas. She has lived in the Austin area since 1977. Julie and her husband of 16 years enjoy hiking in Big Bend, horseback riding and dancing. Julie also volunteers and participates in many local and national organizations:
